There is a lot
of confusion with trophy rams, Outfitters selling Corsican as Mouflons,
Mouflon Cross as pure Mouflon and even Mouflons as Red Sheep. The
countless misconceptions can hurt a Hunter or Hunters in hunting in
Texas in the Future.
The picture
above will show the difference betweens the three Mouflon Sub-species of the
different mountain ranges of Europe and the middle East.
We have been
breeding pure Rams for over ten years now. We hunt and sell to other hunting
companies in Texas.
I have had
hunters and friends show me photos of a proud hunt with shame in there eyes
when they see the difference.
The ram on the
left is a Mouflon, The middle Ram is an Iranian red Sheep and the Ram on the
Right is a Armenian Red Sheep. All pure but this photo is a one of a kind of
the top three WANTED Rams of the Exotic Trophy World.
The Rams are all
Gold Medal Levels and their age is between Three and Four. These Rams do not
last long in the field since they are hunted regularly. This Photo is rare
in all its Glory .
The Fact
of the matter is that I was with My daughter with a small Caliber, or else
the Iranian would be in a Freezer then heading off to the Taxidermist.
