Boars - Hogs

Hunting the ever popular American tusker :Wild boar, wild hog, feral pig, feral hog, Old World swine, Razorback, Texas Grizzly, Piney Rooter, Eurasian wild boar, Forest Bearded Hogs and Russian wild boar are just a few names given to this great animal.

Many hunters try every year to bring home a tusker, some do and some do not. Are they challenging ? You bet they are. I have seen 1 hog in the field and ten minutes later around 30. You can be stand in the middle of that field and have them feed while you are there. Then you raise a rifle and your left by yourself.

They come in all colors and sizes due to the farming of the different breeds over the years. Basically Hogs in the United States where imported since the time of the Spanish Conquistadores that brought with them pigs, sheep and goats.
