"Hunting Trophy Mouflon Ram".. This hunt was exceptional since it was to benefit the Safari Club International chapter of Alabama. Hunter Chriw Williams co-owner of Eastern Trophy Hunters Association. Came for a hunt and he achieved what he came here for. The first day we spotted three herds
with the first having the larges horned ram. One we never saw again. Yet
on the second herd we saw two good rams with one exceptional ram in the
group.
We called it a day and talked out hunts in general as well as what we were looking for in the Ram. The following morning we sat off to hunt hogs and bang Chris took himself a good Coyote with his Muzzleloader at 70 yards. As we headed back to the ranch house we spotted several rams in the hill and decided to take a closer look. The one we were looking for was not around. Deciding to have breakfast and return to the senderos later in the afternoon. That was the right choice since as we drove the first sendero the ram was about 200 yards in the brush with a good herd of mouflons. Needless to say we had stalked the rams and gotten ready we out of no where to dumb ass border patrol pilots pass over us spooking everything in sight. So the game was on and aobut a hour later Chris took a shot which dropped the ram about 80 yards into the brush.
